ALLEY A5
FORMANSKÁ SOUTH

This historic road, connecting Prague and Germany, is now an unpaved dirt road. A Carpinus betulus strip has already been planted on part of this road. The road serves as an access to arable land and as a link to the city for pedestrians and cyclists. There are large, uncultivated blocks of arable land around this road which are exposed to winds causing erosion and soil drying. From the direction of the D8 motorway, pollutants and noise enter the area. The overall appearance of the area is bleak, with a lack of landscape vegetation structure and permeability, and with warehouses and the D8 motorway visible in the background.

Our intention is clear, we are adding a suitable vegetation element that will maximise the functional isolation and protection of this area.

We are considering the landscape value requirements of the area to enhance the aesthetics of the area.

Specifically, we are undertaking the planting of a Carpinus betulus avenue in sections where tree vegetation is currently lacking. This action not only increases the functionality of the area, but also contributes to its aesthetic improvement and ecological value.
