ALLEY A7
NAD PÍSKOVNOU

Historical dirt road connecting Přemyšlení and Sedlec, which is currently ploughed within the soil block, but the plot is still owned by the municipality of Zdiby. The surrounding area of this road is characterised by large uncultivated blocks of arable land which are vulnerable to winds causing erosion and soil drying. On the other hand, from the direction of the D8 motorway, pollutants, dust and noise are directed at the area. In the areas where the road cuts into the terrain, there is valuable mixed vegetation, which includes various types of trees and shrubs. However, the overall impression of the area is flat and inhospitable. There is a lack of landscape vegetation to structure the area and improve its overall appearance. The warehouse buildings and the D8 motorway loom in the background, adding to the sense of bleakness.

We have proposed a mixed planting of native fruit trees on the original dirt road parcel, in sections of sufficient width. This planting includes Prunus avium (edible cultivars), Pyrus communis, Malus domestica and Prunus domestica. These species will not only improve the visual impression, but also bring environmental benefits.

Our goal is to restore and make the historic dirt road more attractive to locals and visitors while enhancing the biodiversity and environment of the area.

Bringing aesthetic value and improving the overall impression of the area by planting fruit trees that have a positive impact on the local community.
